ABOUT THE AUTHORS

Bennett Valentine is a college student studying Film at SUNY Purchase, and had begun working on this project during his sophomore year of high school, where he attended in Ardsley, and he continues writing to this day. Though an optimistic person in society, Bennett paints dismal pictures of the world, where the characters’ introspection drives them into insanity. He still resides in Ardsley with his sister and father who also partook in writing short stories and poems in the book.

Andrew Valentine is an award-winning author, screenwriter and freelance journalist who lives and writes with his daughter and son in Ardsley. He is a founding member of the Paranormal Romance Guild. He began writing as a child and has continued ever since. His stories in this book showcase some of his earliest writings.

Christine Marino is a recent graduate from SUNY Oneonta with a degree in Media Studies. She is an avid reader of fantasy and drama, which helped create an interest in writing. In her pieces, she combines these aspects, but adds a topical dread to each. She currently lives with her brother and father in their Ardsley home.

Robert Watson is a college student studying English and Creative Writing at New York University. Finding inspiration in the beauty of the small details of the world, but addressing the misery surrounding them, his pieces paint a nuanced picture of the environment. He attended high school in Ardsley, when he began writing his pieces.
